As a social justice- and community-oriented teacher-scholar, I develop students’ philosophical voices through critical engagement with diverse perspectives and through practice in collaborative inquiry. My goal is for students to become critical thinkers and to develop as global citizens. To this end, I build and facilitate a community of inquirers, mentor students on incorporating lived experience into their philosophical development, and remain proactive in my own pedagogical development.
